Welcome to Rachel Beck Photography
MEET RACHEL
I cherish my life alongside my incredible partner, Larry, our children, Winston and Stella, and our Great Dane, Grymm—surrounded by family, close friends, and a house filled with greenery. (Yes, there are approximately twenty indoor house plants.) A love for nurturing life and an instinct to document it run deep in my family, shaping both who I am and how I see the world.
What began as a passion quickly became a calling. Photography is a craft I am grateful to have built into a career spanning over two decades. After graduating from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in 2007, I founded Rachel Beck Photography and have been wholeheartedly devoted to it ever since.
I approach every session with joy, intention, and a deep appreciation for collaboration. There is nothing I love more than creating alongside my clients—laughing, connecting, and ultimately revealing imagery that feels both meaningful and enduring.
I am always looking for exceptional light—using it to tell the story of this moment in time, preserving it in a way that can be felt for years to come. The beauty of everyday life inspires me most: quiet, honest moments that remind us of all there is to be grateful for.
Your photographs will have a timeless look and elegant feel- always able to take you back to how you were feeling in that exact moment!
I've learned over two decades of photographing special occasions, that candid style portraiture paired with a photo journalistic approach helps create images which look natural and tells a story.
I love portraits which feel relaxed and fun. I encourage freedom of expression because, often, the best images come with little or no direction.

“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”
— Elliott Erwitt
“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
— Aaron Siskind
